The link between our thinking and our behaviours

Stress management strategies before, during and after a stressful event

Personality factors that contribute to higher stress levels. Practical exercises, which can be built into the delegate’s own Action Plan

What is achieved?

As a result of this workshop individuals will be able to:-

Understand what stress is, and recognise that stress management reflects a positive attitude to life.

Identify individual sources of pressure and their implications.

Recognise the importance of feeling in control, and identifying their own sources of control.

Understand the patterns of response exhibited by themselves and others when performing under pressure - and how these responses can sometimes be detrimental to peak performance.

Build a personal plan upon which to make healthier lifestyle choices

By analysing your own response to pressure this workshop shows you how to focus your energies to achieve positive results. You will learn about the factors which hinder productivity and discover ways of reducing them in yourselves and in others. The workshop also allows you to develop Action Plans for living a more healthy lifestyle and for reducing stress when situations are intense.

Who should attend?

Anyone who wishes to meet life’s constant challenges with a positive perspective. It is suitable for all business professionals who are performing in a high pressure work environment or working to tight deadlines.
